About Us
Disability Events was founded by Karina Ceballos, an educator and dedicated advocate for
accessibility and inclusion. With extensive experience as an events coordinator for people with
disabilities, Karina has seen first-hand the transformative impact of creating spaces where everyone
feels welcome and included. Her journey has also taken her through years of meaningful work as a
carer, where her compassion, dedication, and passion for the disability sector have touched the lives
of countless individuals.
Driven by her belief that everyone deserves the chance to connect, participate, and thrive, Karina
created Disability Events to bridge the gap between people with disabilities and accessible, engaging
experiences. Our platform reflects her commitment to making inclusive events easy to find, with a
focus on community, accessibility, and celebration.
